"The Garden of Earthly Delights "
Dating from between 1490 and 1510, when Bosch was about 40 or 50 years old. it is his best-known and most ambitious, complete work. The triptych is painted in oil on oak and is formed from a square middle panel flanked by two other oak rectangular wings show a story painting of the earth during the biblical myth of creation. God Adam & Eve, panorama of sexually engaged nude figures,the lovers in the flower sphere, fantastical animals, over sized fruit and hybrid stone formations.
