MOCA Bangkok
is the place exhibit the works of art collected by Boonchai Bencharongkul the successful business man in telecommunications industry. His passion for art and dedication to King Rama IX and to honour "The Father of Contemporary Art" in Thailand Professor Silpa Bhiasri, Florentine sculptor who came to Bangkok in 1922. He played a significant part as one of the founder of Silapapakorn University the country first university dedicated to the visual arts with The King Rama IX. Khun Boonchai open this art museum to public in March 2012.
MOCA displays  some 800 pieces works from traditional Thai style to modern influenced Western artistic style. In the big white interior building consist of 5 floors, G floor comprised of 4 halls 2 is permanent and 2 is temporary .2nd-3rd floor displays series of art works, mix media, sculpture by Thai leading Contemporary artists. 4th floor showcase the work of philosopher and artist Thawan Duchanee. 5th floor shows International artist from others countries.
I love museum and i love the open space here. Bangkok really need more place like this.
