Okay so that's a wrap for Bangkok Fashion Week fall/winter 2013 Collection. What a week of pure energy, faith, and money.
I want to leave a good note from an article in up coming Elle Men Thailand 0 issue about Thai fashion industry. Thai fashion is Uncertainty. the consumer change their behavioral psychology all the time so Thai designers must follow trends in order to sale. Tho some designers are showing more of their Identity but still not yet there. The rise of Celebrity Designer are also changing the map of Thai fashion industry.

half dream half reality / harper's bazaar designers contest

Hi, I'm at Harper's Bazaar Asian New Generation Fashion Designer Award. at Pradpreaw Studio. Today is the announcement of the winner from hundreds sth contestors on behalf of Thailand to complete with other country like Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore in mid November. Here are the 10 finalist and their works.

 before making the 5 outfits the finalist have 1 month to prepare and workshop with Thai designer establish labels

 the 3 months activity Harper's Bazaar Thailand did the university roadshow to find the star new talent.

 the bottom row got the second place. she went to workshop with senada

 the new designers ask to make lookbook and the marketing plan.

 some really impressive work!
